The Offensive Weapons Act 2019

Under the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 it is an offence to sell bladed items to anyone under the age of 18 and we are required by UK law to verify purchasers are not under 18 and to to ensure they are not delivered to anyone under the age of 18. As a result we will email all purchasers requesting a scan or photo of their Passport or Driving Licence proving they are over 18 and will only deliver to a recognised business address. If at any stage this process proves to be a problem we will of course offer the option to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

In purchasing from this site, you are accepting the terms and conditions on this page and certify that, should you be purchasing a knife, you are over 17 years of age and agree to provide Top Trout Ltd with truthful and accurate information and to act in accordance with the aforementioned act.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on the 'BUY' button for any items you want to add to your virtual shopping cart/trolley. After you have finished your selection, click on the "Order" button near the top of the page and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order.

We only accept orders for UK delivery.

We accept payment by credit cards, debit cards and cheque. Cards we accept include Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Solo and Switch. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club or JCB at this time.

For security we do not store your credit card information on our servers. When you enter your card details they are sent directly to our secure online payment partner, SECPay Ltd, using 128 bit encryption.
Shipping And Handling
All UK orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class post for £2.95.

Delivery Schedule
We hold stock of all our products and aim to provide a same day despatch service for weekday orders placed and paid for by 3.00pm. This does not apply during our holiday periods which are notified in advance.

Orders placed during the weekend or bank holidays will normally be sent on the following working day.

First Class post will typically arrive the following day (unless Sunday).

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock we will contact you with delivery details and the option to cancel your order.

Please note that we will be closed from Saturday 5th January 2019 to Monday 14th January 2019 for staff holidays. All orders placed during this period will be despatched on our return.

Our prices include all relevant taxes within the UK and the rest of the European Union.
Tax Charges
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet.

All credit card details are encrypted during the payment phase where you are in direct contact with our card processor, Your card details are kept completely private and are not accessible to any employees of Top Trout Ltd.
Credit Card Security
All purchasers from our web site are protected by British and European law.

In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive, you have the right to cancel your order or reject goods at any time up to eight working days after the goods are received.

You also have legal protection under the Sale of Goods Act (1979) and the Sale and Supply of Goods Act (1994) which ensure that all goods supplied are 'as described', 'of satisfactory quality', and 'suitable for the purpose for which they were sold'.

Any goods that are faulty should be returned for replacement or repair under the manufacturers warranty.

In addition to your statutary rights above we offer our own no-quibble, 30 Day Promise against unwanted goods.

"If for any reason you're not satisfied with the goods you receive, simply return the products, unused and in the original packaging, within 30 days of receiving them for a full refund of the purchase price (including P+P)."

Your only obligation under this Promise is to ensure the goods reach us in satisfactory condition and to pay the cost of the return postage.

This Promise is in addition to, and does not effect, your statutary rights or your right to return goods that are faulty.

Privacy Policy
We fully conform with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998. Personal information is only collected when you place an order, register for our newsletter, or contact us directly by email, phone, fax or letter and we only use this information for normal business practices.

With the exception of credit card processing, all information is collected and stored securely by Top Trout Ltd on our premises. For credit card transactions, appropriate information is collected by our credit card processor, SECPay Ltd, for the sole purpose of authorising that transaction.

We only send marketing information (our Newsletter, etc) to club members and those who have registered to receive it (opt-in). You may unregister here at any time.

We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). We do not share customer details with third parties for marketing purposes.
